The Jacobo Vega-Albela quintet is a group primarily dedicated to bringing life to modern jazz music written by its members. Made up of Adam Aronesty (Saxophone), Leon Hsu (Piano), Aaron Ouellette (Trumpet), Zach Walgren (Bass), and Jacobo Vega-Albela (drums), this group of friends and collaborators met during their time together at Eastman and gravitated toward each-other based on common musical interests and influences. 

The group has been playing together since 2021, and the comfort and trust the members feel with each-other can be heard and felt in the group's sound. The night will feature original compositions by Adam, Aaron, and Jacobo, as well as a few select covers of pieces by some of our favorite artists! Come experience a night of music you won't find anywhere else!
