Havana Loops is my 2 year old project. Music loops inspired by the freedom, the endless possibilities, the discipline and creativity that this medium provides. Cuban music is full of rhythms and melodies, and most every Cuban can dance to them. Exploring my innate abilities to do some of these rhythms has been the highlight of endeavor. Original and Cuban songs will take form as I create the melodies "on the spot" - if you saw it once they will never be the same. A predictable outcome ...many might think yet, the energy of the moment is ever changing. Sing and dance along, clap and get inspired as I share with you one happy side of my existence on my birthday.

Honoring me with his presense comes along my dear friend from our elementary school years in Havana, Michel Ferré. His musical trajectory includes collaborations with artists like Lauryn Hill, Concha Buika, Ricardo Arjona among may others. His classical and jazz training as a pianist in Havana greatly influenced his musical formation and who he is today. His musical inspiration ranges from Bach, Chopin, Lecuona through the music of Jarrett, The Doors, the Beatles, Bjork, Emiliano Salvador, and Sun Ra as his work as a pianist, arranger and composer continue to evolve. Michel currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
