Asalone is the solo project of Buffalo-based singer/songwriter/musician Adam Stanley Putzer. In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the dissolution of his former group The Tins, Adam committed to a concept that had been in the back of his mind for years: to combine his love of power pop, folk, classic rock with his interest in hip-hop and R&B beatmaking, performing and producing everything himself. 

Short blasts of melody come together with danceable grooves to make the asalone sound. As Adam says, “I want to be the guy who makes a combo of Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Tony Molina, and Frank Ocean make some kind of sense.”
